Yes, and I LOVE it. As a believer and artist, I’m passionate about using film and video to tell stories that reflect truth, beauty, and redemption.
-
Absolutely. My faith informs my work and my approach, but I welcome all clients. If you value intentional, soulful storytelling, we’ll get along just fine.
Videography FAQ’s
-
I create cinematic storytelling videos for creatives, brands, churches, musicians, and ministries. This includes music videos, short films, visualizers, sermon bumpers, or highlight recaps. If you’re looking for something soulful and story-driven, I’m your girl.
-
I take on a limited number of intimate weddings and elopements, especially if you’re looking for a film-inspired, nostalgic aesthetic or a spiritual storytelling approach.
-
Video is a little more involved than photography because it involves more time, equipment, and post-production; planning, editing, sound, color, licensing, and more. But at the heart of it, this isn’t just a cost, but an investment in your story. Something that moves people. Something that lasts.
Photography FAQ’s
-
Film photography captures light, emotion, and texture in a way that digital just can’t replicate. It’s slower, more intentional, and creates timeless images that feel like art; not just content. After years of working with mirrorless cameras, I found myself burning out from shutter bursting and taking photos trying to capture every single moment. I felt like I wasn’t growing as an artist. All my photos had a formula, a certain pattern to them that I just wasn’t satisfied with. And quite frankly, I’d become uninspired, apathetic, and beginning to experience a sort of ‘artist death.’ My attempt to rehabilitate this was to completely switch over to analog photography. Though it’s been an incredibly frustrating process, it’s helped me heal, and continues to inspire and motivate me.
-
Absolutely. I shoot both, and we can also talk about your aesthetic preferences before the shoot so it reflects your vibe. I typically shoot with Cinestill BWxx film stock for black & white and Kodak Portra 400 film stock for color. However, if there is a certain film stock you’d like me to shoot with, please let me know! I’m always happy to experiment.
-
Because I shoot on real film, there’s a bit more magic (and time) involved in the process. After our session, your film is sent off to a professional lab to be developed and scanned with care. This means your final gallery will be ready in approximately 2–3 weeks. The wait is a little longer than digital—but trust me, the texture, tone, and timeless feel of film is so worth it.
-
Yes! I work with local film developers and scanners to deliver high-resolution digital files for you to download and share.
-
Film is all about quality over quantity. I typically deliver between 30-50 beautifully curated images per hour of shooting, depending on the session type.
